Meet The Team

Edward Stenner BOst.

Clinic Director & Registered Osteopath

Ed graduated from Oxford Brookes University after four years of full-time osteopathic training and is fully registered with the General Osteopathic Council. With many years of clinical experience, he has treated a wide range of patients, from children to older adults, and has a particular interest in helping people return to the activities they enjoy.

After graduating, Ed worked within a large multidisciplinary practice in New Zealand before returning to his Exmoor roots to co-found Exmoor Osteopathy with his wife, Kat. His broad clinical experience enables him to treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions using a structural approach to osteopathy, combining joint mobilisation and manipulation with soft tissue techniques to improve movement and restore function.

As a keen sportsman, Ed has a particular interest in the treatment and rehabilitation of sports injuries. Outside the clinic, he enjoys playing tennis, spending time with his family and making the most of the Exmoor countryside and coastline.

Katarina Stenner MOst.

Kat graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a Master's degree in Osteopathy and is fully registered with the General Osteopathic Council. She has many years of clinical experience and enjoys helping patients of all ages, taking the time to understand their individual concerns and goals.

Using a combination of structural and cranial osteopathy, Kat tailors her treatments to each patient, believing that no two people are the same. She has a particular interest in pregnancy and postnatal care, as well as treating babies and children using gentle osteopathic techniques. Her commitment to ongoing learning has led her to undertake additional training in paediatric osteopathy.

As a mum herself, Kat understands the physical demands that everyday life can place on the body and enjoys supporting families through the different stages of life. Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family and making the most of everything Exmoor has to offer.

Esther De Sere MOst.

Registered Osteopath

Esther is a qualified Osteopath and is fully registered with the General Osteopathic Council. Her treatments are primarily structural but incorporate several alternative approaches in addition to exercise and life style advice. Esther also offers acupuncture/dry needling as part of her treatments.

 

She graduated from the University of St Mark and St John with a Masters degree in Osteopathy. During her two years of clinical experience in the osteopathic teaching clinic, she had the opportunity to treat a wide variety of patients complaining of different injuries and conditions. Every patient has been treated with the utmost care and has received an appropriate treatment plan adapted to their pathology and have all been treated with care and empathy. 

 

Esther who originates from Belgium, decided to become an osteopath from the age of 8 years old. Ever since she has always been fascinated by osteopathy and it’s approach to the human body.

Amy Warstat MOst.

Registered Osteopath & Sports Massage Therapist

Amy graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in Kent with a Masters in Osteopathy after four years of training. She also has a qualification in dry needling and sports massage. Amy found osteopathy through her interest in anatomy and how the body works which she has had since childhood and continues to enjoy the challenge of working with the body, helping each individual to function at their best. 

 

Amy uses a variety of treatment types including structural techniques, soft tissue, functional and cranial to treat a range of patients; from infant to the more mature generation as well as treating pregnant and post-natal women. Every treatment is tailored to the needs of each individual patient.

 

Amy lives locally and enjoys a range of activities on Exmoor including walking with her two dogs, horse riding and cycling in the countryside.

Philippa Wingate MOst.

Registered Osteopath

 

​Philippa trained at Swansea University where she obtained a first class Masters degree in Osteopathy (M.Ost) before undertaking postgraduate training in Animal Osteopathy.  She enjoys treating using a wide variety of techniques, from mobilisation and manipulation to gentler soft tissues and cranial techniques, tailoring treatment to each individual, as well as providing exercise plans to help improve posture and performance.  She has a special interest in hyper-mobility and fibromyalgia, having written her dissertation on the latter.

 

As a keen mountain biker, horse rider and rock climber, Philippa also has an interest in sports injuries.


Philippa is also qualified in the use of Low Level Laser therapy for both humans and animals, is a fully trained Pilates instructor and has undertaken training with the Sutherland College of Cranial Osteopathy.


Philippa has a keen interest in research and is currently undertaking a PhD with
Hartpury University where she is researching the effects of Osteopathic treatment on
horses.

Jodie Delbridge BSc(hons).

Sports Massage Therapist

Jodie graduated from the University of Winchester after completing a three year Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy. Jodie is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. Jodie also holds a sports massage qualification and will be offering sports massage treatments at the clinic. The treatments will incorporate a variety of techniques such as soft tissue release, myofascial release, neuro muscular techniques and muscle energy techniques tailored to each individual. 

 

Jodie works for the NHS as a paediatric physiotherapist, which involves working with a variety of complex conditions and disabilities. Jodie enjoys making therapy meaningful, functional and engaging for the patients and families she works with.

 

Jodie is very interested in sport and fitness, playing hockey and eventing with her horses.

 

Jodie is offering evening and Saturday appointments.

Kat Cross - 'Always Hear' - Earwax removal & Microsuction service

Kat is a Paramedic of 25 years and has spent the last 5 years working in Primary Care.

She has trained in earwax removal by Microsuction, which is the gold standard of earwax removal & far safer than the traditional ‘syringing’ method commonly used.
